Owner and developer, Elizabeth Taylor, began The Woodward Inns on Fillmore in 1994 with the purchase of The Woodward, a local, historic gothic Tudor mansion and cornerstone of Historic Holliday Park. The mansion had been institutionally used for almost 30 years and needed much love. Taylor, an established local business woman, felt God's calling to save The Woodward. Now 25 years later, 7 Inns and 2 lodging multiplexes are in the same city block.
The Woodward Inns on Fillmore, consists of The Woodward mansion, The Woodward Max, The Woodward Executive, plus 4 smaller more simple Inns as well as two multiplexes - all in the same city block and all used for a variety of B&B/extended stay business lodging. The Woodward Max can accommodate receptions for up to 85, dinners for 55, lodging for a max of 13 family-style. While the other Woodward Inns are also available for purchase, they are not in competition with each other as each hosts a different target market. However, they compliment each other as they provide additional beds.
After 25 years, Ms. Taylor is ready to start downsizing.
