Originally built in 1906, this Queen Anne building was originally the family dwelling of Clarence Davis. The Davis family gained recognition as builders of sailing yachts in the early 1900s, many of which achieved accolades in racing competitions.

The Inn features 5 guest rooms in the Main House with an additional 2 suites with private entrances in the Carriage House, all with en-suite baths to provide guest experiences that extend beyond mere lodging. Visitors can also access many different common areas, including a charming patio, a game room, and a library, as well as both an enclosed and an open porch, along with beautifully maintained gardens. All indoor spaces are fitted with independent heating and central air conditioning to ensure optimal comfort for guests. For those arriving by car, there is ample free parking available, along with a 24 Amp charging station for electric vehicles.

Directly across from the harbor on Solomons Island, this inn is less than a 2 hour drive from the Baltimore/DC area, and 3 hours or less from Philadelphia and Richmond, VA. Also very convenient to several major military installations, so a substantial customer base is close by.
